Good morning, Burnett Breakers! Here are your announcements:

1. All students interested in writing the Euclid math contest, please sign up in Ms. Haave’s Room D205.
2. Do you have questions about educational programs or opportunities available to you while in high school that might help you to prepare for your future career?  If so, come join the Career Programs informal Q&A series after school on Wednesday March 1st from 3-4PM on Zoom.  The QR code and/or Zoom ID and password information can be found on the Career Programs slat board in the counsellors' office and on the Career Centre website.
3. Do you have unwanted clothes at home? Project Serve is hosting a clothing drive till Friday, Mar 3. Drop off toiletries and clothes in the box outside Ms. Wu’s room, A 110B to help the homeless in need. All proceeds go to the Salvation Army’s Belkin House.
4. For those interested in trying out for the Breaker golf team, today at lunchtime, there will be a short meeting in Mr. Giesbrecht's office at 1:05pm. 
5. Badminton tryouts start this week! The Grade 8 tryouts will be Thursday from 3-5 PM at large gym. The Grade 9/10 Junior tryouts will be Thursday at 5-7 PM. Check JNBAthletics Instagram page for more details.
6. Are you a grade 8, 9 or 10 interested in playing a new sport this spring? Junior ultimate tryouts start this week at Minoru at 3:30 on Wednesday, March 1 and Friday, March 3. Sign up sheets will be outside of Mr. Harrison’s room B104.
7. Track & Field practices are postponed to next week, Monday to Friday, March 6 – 10, at Minoru track after school.
8. Are you interested in Indoor soccer? Drop by the gym this Friday at lunch to play some indoor soccer. It’ll be just for fun! All skill levels are encouraged to come. Tell your friends! Come see Mr. Serban if you have any questions. See you Friday at lunch!
9. Calling all actors! Theatre Company Info Session is coming up! Join Ms. McNee next Tuesday, March 7 at lunch in the theatre to learn all about the course of Theatre Company for next year!
