Good morning, Burnett Breakers! Here are your announcements: 

1. All students interested in writing the Euclid math contest, please sign up in Ms. Haave’s Room D205.
2. Do you have questions about educational programs or opportunities available to you while in high school that might help you to prepare for your future career?  If so, come join the Career Programs informal Q&A series after school on Wednesday March 1st from 3-4PM on Zoom.  The QR code and/or Zoom ID and password information can be found on the Career Programs slat board in the counsellors' office and on the Career Centre website.
3. The green team is hosting a BRRR! Week till Wednesday, Mar 1! Wear your Burnett sweaters, hoodies, toques! There will be prizes handed out in the courtyard at lunch for those who participate! Can’t wait to see everyone wearing your Burnett gear!
4. Hey Breakers! Today is the last day to order your yearbook! Order yours at schoolcashonline by 3 PM!
5. Do you have unwanted clothes at home? Project Serve is hosting a clothing drive from Monday, Feb 27 to Friday, Mar 3. Drop off toiletries and clothes in the box outside Ms. Wu’s room, A 110B to help the homeless in need. All proceeds go to the Salvation Army’s Belkin House.
6. Today at lunch, the Breaker Basketball all-star game will take place in the Wave Cave featuring all your favorite Breaker players and the Breakers dance time halftime show. Come out and watch!
7. For those interested in trying out for the Breaker golf team, on Wednesday at lunchtime, there will be a short meeting in Mr. Giesbrecht's office at 1:05pm. 
8. Badminton tryouts start this week! The Grade 8 tryouts will be today and Thursday from 3-5 PM at large gym. The Grade 9/10 Junior tryouts will be Today and Thursday at 5-7 PM. Check JNBAthletics Instagram page for more details.
9. Are you a grade 8, 9 or 10 interested in playing a new sport this spring? Junior ultimate tryouts start this week at Minoru at 3:30 on Wednesday, March 1 and Friday, March 3. Sign up sheets will be outside of Mr. Harrison’s room B104.
10. Attention all students! Today is the deadline for upcoming year course selection. Submit your course selection form and course entry in myEd if you have not already done so.
