Good morning, Burnett Breakers! Here are your announcements:

1. Support anti-bullying efforts with a week-long pin sale hosted by SAGA until today, February 24. During lunch, purchase pins made by SAGA members in front of the cafeteria. All proceeds will benefit an anti-bullying day charity! Learn about anti-bullying through USE YOUR VOICE’s pink shirt day comics which will be available to read at the pin sale table and around the halls!
2. The junior girls played a tough game against Fleetwood park in the finals and fought hard losing 27-47. The MVP of the game was Emily Yi, who played an exceptional game, with a total of 4 points and 8 steals. The girls ended the season off, placing 6th in the South Frasers. Congratulations!
3. The green team is hosting a BRRR! Week next Monday to Wednesday, Feb 27 – Mar 1! Wear your Burnett sweaters, hoodies, toques! Details can be found on our Instagram page! There will be prizes handed out in the courtyard at lunch for those who participate! Can’t wait to see everyone wearing your Burnett gear!
4. Hey Breakers! Have you bought your yearbook yet? Purchase one on schoolcashonline! The deadline to purchase is next Tuesday, February 28. Don’t miss out!
5. Do you have unwanted clothes at home? Project Serve is hosting a clothing drive from Monday, Feb 24 to Friday, Mar 3. Drop off toiletries and clothes in the box outside Ms. Wu’s room, A 110B to help the homeless in need. All proceeds go to the Salvation Army’s Belkin House.
