  1. Interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee?  JNB’s Ultimate team will be holding their final try outs TODAY after school in the back field.  Please wear appropriate athletic wear and dress for the weather. 
  2. Hey Breakers – don’t forget that our first Zen Zone is happening at lunch on Monday in the Library.  If you haven’t had a chance to sign up yet, swing my Ms. Musani’s room D207 by the end of block A on Monday.  See you there!
  3. ARC will be welcoming our latest rescue dog, Cody, on January 28th.  Cody survived several days caught in a leg hold trap.  He's had medical attention​ and we will be looking for a home for him.  If leg hold traps sound cruel to you, check out ARC's display on Canada Goose products on the bulletin board outside A110A.
  4. Could all Give Life Donors and Ambassadors, please meet at the office doors TODAY no later than 3:10pm. 
  5. Attention all grade 9’s – if you haven’t done so yet, return your immunization forms to the office, they are due by the end of TODAY. 
  6. Are you in Grade 11 or 12 and curious about exploring a skilled trade? See your Counsellor or Career Advisor today, to apply for Richmond School District’s one-week STEP Program.  Apply to work for an entire week with the Richmond School District carpenters, plumbers, electricians, landscapers or H-VAC technicians.  If you like Information Technology and computers, you may be interested in H-VAC.  Applications for this exciting work experience program are available from your Career Advisor or Counsellor.  Deadline to submit your COMPLETE application is Wednesday, February 7th.  Don’t delay if this fantastic exploration opportunity is of interest to you!
  7. JN Burnett’s Gay-Straight Alliance Club will be selling Pink Shirts for anti-bullying day until February 27th.  Shirts will be only $5.00 each.  Look for us outside the multi-purpose room at lunch starting February 12th
